EasyCut is a sterile, disposable semi-automatic needle for soft tissue biopsy according to the Menghini modified method.

The needle features an AISI 304 stainless steel cannula with a 45° Menghini tip. The cannnula has centimeter markings to allow the user to easily determine the depth of penetration into the soft tissue.

EasyCut also features an AISI 302 stainless steel stylet with an 11° Trocar tip with reduced diameter. The stylet produces a biopsy length of 31 mm.

The device is equipped with a plastic piston which creates negative pressure inside the handle of the product and a vacuum system activation button on the handle.

EasyCut can be used in conjunction with the compatible needle introducer accessories Intro and Intro MRI, codes PTXXYY and PTMXXYY.

Primary Packaging: Needle individually packaged in an envelope (coupled Tyvek/plastic film) or blister (coupled medical paper/plastic film).

Secondary Packaging: Cardboard box containing 10 needles.

Each cardboard box contains the IFU of the medical device.
