Manual needle for bone marrow aspiration from the iliac crest or sternum, sterile.
The needle is composed of an AISI 304 stainless steel cannula with 25° Chiba tip. The cannula has centimeter markings to allow the user to easily determine the depth of penetration into the bone tissue, a stylet in AISI 304/AISI 302 stainless steel with a 26.5° slice tip, tip protection made of plastic material, and an adjustable and removable depth limiter that allows you to set the depth of insertion of the needle.
Needle gauges are indicated on the depth limiter. The device is equipped with removable handle wings that improves grip during the bone marrow aspiration procedure. PenBoneBlu also contains a plastic stylet handle, adjustment screw, depth limiter adjustment ring, Luer Lock connection for use with a syringe, and an ergonomic cannula handle.
PenBone is provided with a safety spacer, which allows the operator to select the depth of insertion. With the safety spacer, the device length can by varied as represented in the picture below.
