AutoMark is a needle with a non-repositionable stainless steel wire for pre-operative localization of non-palpable breast lesions. It is provided with a wire activation button which allows the operator to use the device with only one hand, leaving the other hand free to manipulate ultrasound guidance or other devices.
This device is equipped with an AISI 304 stainless steel cannula with a lancet tip to enable high penetration capacity, avoiding excessive deflection and maximizing insertion precision. The device also comes with a transparent luer cone with an insertion funnel for easy re-introduction of the wire.
Centimeter markings and a sliding stopper on the surface of the cannula allow for easy determination of insertion depth. The needle also comes with a clamp to fix the protruding wire to the skin. Optionally, the device can be provided with the NeedleVise® safety device with reference code: PNARxxyy.
