Chiba needle for cyto-histological aspiration, injection, anesthesia, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling
CytoCut is a disposable needle made of medical stainless steel with a triple-sharpened cannula and stylet. The two pieces are perfectly coupled to avoid extraction of foreign tissue during introduction of the cannula.
The geometry and stiff materials of the needle tip allow for rectilinear needle introduction. The cannula features centimeter markings, a depth stopper, and a luer lock for syringe connection. Echogenic markers on the cannula enable easy needle positioning under ultrasound guidance. The stylet hub is colored according to international color codes for easy identification of gauge size.
